Before contacting your bank or credit card provider to file a chargeback, we kindly ask that you reach out to our Customer Support team.

Most issues—including delayed shipments, damaged products, incorrect items, refunds, or cancellations—can be resolved much faster by working directly with us.

Our goal is to provide a fair and timely resolution without the need for a formal payment dispute.

Haven't Received Your Order?

Please review the estimated delivery times outlined in our Shipping Policy.

If your order has exceeded the estimated delivery window, contact us and we'll gladly investigate the shipment, provide an update, or coordinate with the carrier or manufacturer when necessary.


Received a Damaged or Incorrect Item?

We're committed to making it right.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Photos of the product
  • Photos of the packaging (if applicable)
  • A brief description of the issue

We'll work quickly to arrange a replacement, repair, or refund when appropriate.

A fraudulent chargeback (sometimes referred to as "friendly fraud") occurs when a customer disputes a legitimate purchase after receiving the product or services, or files a dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue with the merchant.

BackyardHomeOutlet reserves the right to provide supporting documentation—including order confirmations, shipment tracking information, delivery confirmations, customer communications, and signed freight delivery receipts—to contest invalid or fraudulent chargebacks.

Customers who intentionally misuse the chargeback process may be refused future purchases.
