Return & Refund Policy

At BackyardHomeOutlet, we're committed to making your shopping experience simple and worry-free. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 30-Day Return Policy on eligible products.

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.


Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and in its original condition
  • Be returned with all original packaging, manuals, and accessories
  • Include proof of purchase or your order confirmation

Items that have been installed, assembled, modified, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.


Common Return Reasons

1. Manufacturer Defect

If your product has a manufacturing defect or fails to operate as intended, please contact us immediately.

Examples include:

  • Outdoor grills
  • Outdoor refrigerators
  • Pizza ovens
  • Fire features
  • Pergolas
  • Outdoor kitchen components

We will work directly with the manufacturer to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


2. Product Arrived Damaged

If your order arrives with visible shipping damage, please inspect it before signing for delivery.

If damage is found:

  • Note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt.
  • Take clear photos of the packaging and product.
  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

We'll assist you in arranging a replacement or resolving the issue promptly.


3. Incorrect Item Received

If you receive the wrong product, we'll arrange for the correct item to be shipped and provide return instructions for the incorrect item at no additional cost.


4. Changed Your Mind

If you decide the product is no longer right for your project, you may request a return within 30 days, provided the item:

  • Has not been installed or used
  • Is in new condition
  • Includes the original packaging

Return shipping charges may apply unless the return is due to our error or a damaged/defective product.


Return Shipping

If the return is due to:

  • A damaged item
  • A defective product
  • An incorrect shipment

BackyardHomeOutlet will provide a prepaid return shipping label whenever applicable.

For all other approved returns, return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund or arranged directly with the customer.

Oversized freight shipments may be subject to additional return shipping charges.


How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact our Customer Support team at:

  • Order Number
  • Full Name
  • Reason for Return
  • Photos (if applicable)

Once your return request is approved, we'll provide:

  • Return authorization (RMA)
  • Return instructions
  • Shipping information (if applicable)

Please note: Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.


Exchanges

If you'd like a different product, we recommend requesting a return for the original item and placing a new order once your return has been approved. This helps ensure the fastest possible service.


Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before they have shipped.

  • Orders canceled before shipment will receive a full refund.
  • Orders that have already shipped are subject to our standard return policy.
  • Custom or made-to-order products may not be eligible for cancellation once production has begun.

Refund Process

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we'll notify you of the status of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days.
  • Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please contact our support team.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Installed or assembled products
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Products returned without original packaging
  • Products showing signs of use or damage after delivery

Manufacturer-specific return restrictions may also apply.
